Their Stories and Experiences

Andrew Nevle, University of Tennessee, Product Management Intern

What’s your favorite part about interning at JDA?
The ability to network with so many JDA associates. I was assigned a project that required me to network with many different people at JDA. Everyone at JDA was welcoming and patient enough to help me along the process for the sake of my project and I couldn’t be more grateful.

What would you tell someone considering apply to the JDA intern program?
Do it. This internship experience was the best thing that has happened for my future career path. I was given a legitimate problem that needed to be solved, with the freedom to find a solution. My managers were there to help me with every step along the way.

What type of person succeeds at JDA?
Everyone knows that working hard pays off, but at JDA the important part is staying focused.

Why here, when you could be anywhere?
The main reason I came to JDA was because of the real work I would be doing. I am working on real projects and get the same treatment as a full-time employee. The importance of doing meaningful work during an internship can help me in my future career.
